Purpose of the game

Your naive idealism makes me laugh. There's no point in "being creative" and making your own teams when the purpose of the game (wink wink) is get get the most power, win the most, and get the best items. If folks don't agree with that purpose, they can play with their own purpose in mind. The whales that spend thousands of dollars think otherwise, and control the majority of the game with the pvp events. It's not going to get any better; it's been two years and Oasis knows what they're doing with incentivizing the "purpose" that makes them the most money. That purpose isn't flowers, *erflies and cotton candy. Highest stats, highest BP.
