The only gifts you can give right now is roses, I guess, and people already use alts to give themselves tons of roses. I do see the appeal of being able to give gifts but I see it as an event only thing (for example, the missions event has a mission that is basically a free mission box and points)...and, if you want to gift someone ingots, you could buy them a giftcard.

Magatama - I've gotten one of my accounts to pretty high power early on, without paying anything, merely because I was lucky in recent events and got lv3-4 magatama. Look at growth rates - Stack certain magatama and equipment on ninjas that have the highest growth with that stat.To Strengthen - Show up at 9tails and always have your strengthens maxed, as well as your group skills.Be in an active group - Group skills will give you a lot of power, and an active enough group will be able to upgrade skills within the first few days.

I'd say do at least 10-15 minutes of 9tails until you reach level 50, and then try to stay for the full event. Usually I just put on an audiobook or something to help stave off the boredom, but yeah, the event can really drag on. You do get more benefits the longer the event takes. As andywswift mentioned, if you are aiming to be top, you should do it full from the beginning, though it's still 100% possible to be a top player if you don't do 9tails until later, just a little harder. [Player Guide] Early game tips

Get Hinata 2*+ and Kabuto 2* as soon as possible, as well as Ino. They are very valuable ninjas early and later on, and Ino can help you beat exams that are very many levels above you, and is important for high level exams. Of course, work towards upgrading Naruto, Sakura, and other starting ninjas as well. Getting Kankuro to 3* is ideal, he's a good counter if your server is full of Hinatas. You can sweep for Kurenai in the future, she's very valuable but arena points are also very hard to come by, so just wait until you can sweep for her I'd say. For Lightning main, get Sasuke to 3* when you can, and for Fire, get Anko to 3* eventually, and join the 9tails event using elemental boost or Blood Limit "Red Lotus Secret" (Sasuke, Hinata) for Fire. Best way to get coins for your donations, strengthens, and other features that will use coins in the future. Strengthens end up costing a lot, and there is a point (50-60+) where Group skills are more valuable as long as you're in a group that is actively upgrading itself, but try not to get too behind on strengthens. Use the Community Events "Wonderful Sharing" for a good source of Coupons and other good items if you use FB. Try to save your coupons, and take advantage of good events that give high level magatama, refine runes, and such at discounts. Stock up on low level refine runes and purify runes for later, but I wouldn't spend ranked coins on them. Find an active group, join GNW, and save as much group coins as possible for future goodies.When you hit level 50-53, don't draw from Summon Treasure until you have fought to capture all summons at least once. This is beacuse for every first time you try to capture a summon, you get a rune (boost stats, in short), and if you get a summon from the treasure already, you can't capture them and so no rune. Try to save all your Seal Scrolls and Summon Scrolls (lv 50 thing) for rebate events, though, I know I definitely find it hard to follow this. This post was last edited by Amadeu at 2016-11-27 15:54

The fact that most of the current meta uses Sage Naruto is something that has gotten quite old, I can say that. He's a good character and remains a good character for a while, and there are usually very few reasons not to use him if you can. I still use standard Empress during Matsuri, and I usually go with the following formations. I can provide a text version of them if you prefer. Not sure what you're using at the moment, if you have tried of these I'll see if I can figure something out in arena. http://i.imgur.com/yw9PMD0.pnghttp://i.imgur.com/ddJYbel.pngMy Karin can take more hits than Kurenai, and Kurenai needs to be alive to heal and shield Hinata or Main. Vs Fire mains I use Hinata's mystery round 1, vs almost anything else I use Karin's. [Events] How lucky are you?

There are a few "large spenders" on the server, but only one or two of them are really a risk in Sage World, since others are inactive or barely show up for events. A lot of the high powers are friends or members of the same group, so I'm not really bothered much by them, as a "low spender" I am. I still find the game fun. There is a completely free player that has very high power, and he's quite "dangerous" in PVP events as well. I suspect that the sever will be merged, and if so, barely anyone will keep their rankings. The server is more or less lukewarm save for one person who has reached 40k, and I welcome new players regardless of what happens with rankings.
