Nah; it might turn into pure grind - making alts that feed into 1 main account. I see the appeal but unfortunately that's what will probably happen.

The only gifts you can give right now is roses, I guess, and people already use alts to give themselves tons of roses. I do see the appeal of being able to give gifts but I see it as an event only thing (for example, the missions event has a mission that is basically a free mission box and points)...and, if you want to gift someone ingots, you could buy them a giftcard.
