Hello! There are some tips:
1. Don't use stamina potions if it's not Monday (double experience from sweeping)
2. Don't draw Seals Scrolls after 1, but 10.
3. Group Skills - really useful, it's a great help to have them maxed out
4. Good combo from the start
5. Do Team Instances to get Ninja Tools, which will help you increase your power.
6. Upgrade your equipment as soon as possible - really useful and increase power

Get Hinata 2*+ and Kabuto 2* as soon as possible, as well as Ino. They are very valuable ninjas early and later on, and Ino can help you beat exams that are very many levels above you, and is important for high level exams. Of course, work towards upgrading Naruto, Sakura, and other starting ninjas as well. Getting Kankuro to 3* is ideal, he's a good counter if your server is full of Hinatas. You can sweep for Kurenai in the future, she's very valuable but arena points are also very hard to come by, so just wait until you can sweep for her I'd say.

For Lightning main, get Sasuke to 3* when you can, and for Fire, get Anko to 3* eventually, and join the 9tails event using elemental boost or Blood Limit "Red Lotus Secret" (Sasuke, Hinata) for Fire. Best way to get coins for your donations, strengthens, and other features that will use coins in the future. Strengthens end up costing a lot, and there is a point (50-60+) where Group skills are more valuable as long as you're in a group that is actively upgrading itself, but try not to get too behind on strengthens.

Use the Community Events "Wonderful Sharing" for a good source of Coupons and other good items if you use FB. Try to save your coupons, and take advantage of good events that give high level magatama, refine runes, and such at discounts. Stock up on low level refine runes and purify runes for later, but I wouldn't spend ranked coins on them.

Find an active group, join GNW, and save as much group coins as possible for future goodies.

When you hit level 50-53, don't draw from Summon Treasure until you have fought to capture all summons at least once. This is beacuse for every first time you try to capture a summon, you get a rune (boost stats, in short), and if you get a summon from the treasure already, you can't capture them and so no rune.

Try to save all your Seal Scrolls and Summon Scrolls (lv 50 thing) for rebate events, though, I know I definitely find it hard to follow this.
