There is no trick, just think of it as a pvp fight not pve. They move in proper turn order and they have pretty high refines, my slower guys at 300~ initiative go after them, but guys in 600+ go first. For team anything works, as long as you have interrupt or acupuncture every turn so you can block their skills. Typical mid game lightning meta team Kakashi/Hinata/Kabuto will work. Talents Chidori Blade Shadow/2nd or 3rd attack down to preference/Lightning Sword chase/Anbu Special Tactics/Clone or Bloodthirsty Demon down to preference with Ninja Dog Shiba summon. Make your formation so Main is move 1, Kakashi move 2, Hinata move 3, Kabuto last. With this you have 8 combo every turn that you can start by cycling mains and Kakashis mystery that has acupuncture, paralyze and ignite in it. Just cancel their mysteries correctly and it will be easy win 95% of time.

Depends how you define work, yeh the passive works, but that is an awful team. This is generally the worst out of the 3 passives from that row and it's only for niche builds that need a team built around it and even then it's not that good.

This seems like it would do well in pve because normally your whole team goes first, then whole enemy team goes instead of normal move order. But i cannot imagine this working at all against players in convoys or sage battlefield. Naruto goes last and it's very obvious what you are planning, you are asking to get interrupted/acupunctured and like 90% of players run at least one of these, normally on position 1 or 2. Also this has team 0 defense against debuffs, if they get you it's over. I would recommend having Naruto go into position 1 or 2 so he moves earlier and have the water main go last with heal so you can have some debuff protection, you don't really need the shark bomb since you already have 3 aoe damage mysteries so you should always have one ready.

Kidomaru is pretty good in arena/survival/3v3, especially with Kabuto(who is great for all cursed seal guys btw). With his ever growing shield he is a great sponge, definitely the best out of the 4, i personally use him. Wasn't impressed by Ukon Sakon, he is too fragile to stand at front and there is already a lot of great choices for damage from the back row. Jirobo wasn't as good as Kidomaru or Kimimaro(the other cursed seal tank) for me, but all his damage scales of taijutsu and he has earth field and built in healing, he sounds like he might be a good choice for earth mains but i am not one so cannot say more. Tried to play around Tayuya when i had missions that she fit in Arena but couldn't make anything that made me want to invest food/cultivation into her, she seems extremely niche, only one i know who can do anything from sleep is Ino. She can't start a combo and she doesn't bring much as a support.

No it's not a typo, but it's not a loss, it's a trade and a very good one at that. He looses repulse but he also looses battlefield cooldown on mystery, his standard attack gets upgraded and he gains a chase. As for his usage, he has a lot to offer. His mystery is amazing in survival and vs annoying pve levels, because it's basically point and click cancel enemy move. Put him on your move 1 position and give him some initiative and he counters the very popular Hinatas/Gaaras/Lightnings with their aoe paralysis. Team comp wise, his chase is same as Kabutos so pretty much all the Kabuto teams you see will work with Neji for example Neji/Kakashi/Hinata.
