[PVP] Arena Matchmaking (Also I'm sorry Random LM)

What frustrates me about the Arena matching is something different...the types of players. I generally see 2: 1) players (often like myself) that create god-awful teams to so they can complete the 2 missions. 2) players that create OP teams for "testing". Personally, I don't like the Arena. I wanna get my 2 missions done, and leave. I'm often embarassed about making terrible teams, but it's what the missions require of me, so I make the best of it with the ninja I have. But most of the time, it takes over an hour (sometimes 2-3) to get through it. It seems like more and more players use the Training section to showcase their competitive teams--teams I couldn't beat even WITHOUT the mission constraints. The result is, both the Ranked section and Training section are used competitively, making the activity unplayable for those of us just trying to get Activity/Arena Points. My suggestion: Either create a 3rd section for getting points...maybe give it an AI opponent, OR restrict Training battles to players that satisfy at least 1 mission requirement. OR give a non-buff penalty to players that don't satisfy mission requirements: --1 requirement met: all ninja acupunctured for the 1st round; --no requirements met: all ninja chaosed for the 1st round.

At a 30 frag recruit and only 4 skills, I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume this is a novelty ninja...a clever one, but still just a squishy bomb that may probably only work in ranked (and not as well as the original, at that) I'm kind of disappointed. Guy was the one ninja I was really eager to see an upgraded version for.

[Events] Lucky Stars Should I go for it?

Lucky Star is a great event....usually the best offered amongst the others in the week--but if your asking for investment advice, I wouldn't base your decision on the ninja you'd get from a lucky spin. I've seen players walk away empty-handed after spending thousands of ingots--infuriated because they thought they had a guarantee at that ninja. Most of the time, you won't get it--and by that, i mean...you should count on NOT getting it. In my opinion, the value of the event comes in the form of the reward redemption ninja...this week Roshi, Mei, and Danzo. If you're really hurting to recruit/upgrade and can't wait for the treasure pull...then this event is amazing...we're talking about 80 coupons for a danzo frag...that's like 30-40 frags for him by the end of the week...that's a pretty good value (not to mention the items offered) ...however, if you're only casually collecting their frags and don't critically need them, then i'd skip Luck Star this time. Your coupons would be better saved for the Daily Special or Sakura's Gift Personally, I'm gonna get some Kushina frags this week so I can 3-star her...no luck involved, just straight-up saving :)

Trigger: (previous attempt) 1st, opponent's 3 ninja die next, opponent's fourth and final ninja, Orochimaru (traitor), summons kage(s) next, opponent's Orochimaru dies next, kages kill player's remaining ninja...player loses battle next, player re-starts the same battle with a new lineup next, while the battle loads, the game crashes upon refreshing the browser and re-entering Survival, it shows that the battle is no longer available, and rewards/points are offered as though the battle was won. Bug Print Screen (most important):sorry, screenshot unavailable. I'll upload one if I re-encounter the bug.

Hmm...exactly 100 Pain hard TIs and the Sword is a no-show ...that's less than a 1% chance that it even appears (let alone is rewarded) Next week i'm gonna put this on hold and go back to Brothers easy....maybe it'll show up there, or if not i can least get an epic tool that i know will appear, lol

I agree with some of what's been stated above....ninja are generally a waste of coupons (...unless you're a whale....then it becomes all about collecting and prestige). The thing is, with the lengthy time it takes to save for a ninja, the more likely it'll become less useful (even useless) by the time you buy it. After a few months, better ninja are available, counters are developed...and in some cases, the one you want is nerfed. Further, events are a slippery slope...it's easy to go to them for ninja frags, but if you're not careful, you can end up wasting coupons on low-yield gambles, or panic buys. On the other side of the coin is battle power....it's not trendy or fun...or even interesting, but it accvmulates with time and diligence and works well with any lineup. That's what I'd focus on. As far as what to buy? Generally I recommend players focus on low-mid level items in every group (runes, mood, magatamas, etc). That's where it's most cost-effective. But I would check 2 places to help pinpoint where you should focus: First, the game helps you. While you're logged in, in the upper left corner by your name is a red box labeled "Power Up" ...if you click it, you'll see what your weak areas are. Secondly, in the lower right corner, click "Shop" and go to the "Purchase Limit" tab. Here you can get packs for varying power boosting items that are currently on sale. I like these sales better than most events because there's no risk of loss--you know what you're gonna get. They're essentially the same as what you'd find elsewhere in the Shop--just cheaper. Case in point: I have 2 accounts, One is PTW that focuses entirely on collecting new ninja, the other is F2P and focuses entirely on battle power. The PTW account is a lot more fun, because it has cooler ninja and more options for lineups. However, at the end of the day, the F2P account has an easier time playing, because it's a lot stronger for its level.(why 2 accounts? I think of budgeting as being comparable to dieting. Strictly eating only foul-tasting health food isn't sustainable. Statistically most dieters cave in and binge on treats--whereas diets that allow for an occasional small indulgence tend to be successful. While I'm very active on my PTW account, I recharge very little--it's how I treat myself and keep my F2P account on track) Anyways, I hope this helps :)

I haven't tried Brothers normal yet...but I have gotten 2 Round Fans from Brothers hard, as well as the Gourds...so that's one less 'lower tier' TI for players to worry about i guess.

i'd have to agree. This week on 1 account i did 20 Brothers easy, and got 2 Masks...and the other account I did 20 Brothers hard and got 2 Fans, and about 3 Gourds ...so i'd say it's roughly a 10% chance (i think i got about 3-4 epic nature stones on each as well...but i didn't keep track). After they nerfed the gold/epic stones, i'm not as enthusiastic about getting them anymore, lol. next week i'll try Pain hard for the Sword, but I suspect that'll be the same probability.
