When i brought my gnw tenten from two stars to three stars my displayed power in arena didn't change. I'm pretty sure the selection tool shows the current stars of the ninja but when you go in arena they aren't calculated in and you just use a preselected 3 stars version of it even if you have them higher grown up than that.

Ok then is a bug unless you were using 4 swordbearers, in that case could be your chojuro was the one that wasn't selected (were you using guy? Are you sure it wasn't sasuke or another swordbearer? )

I'm pretty sure skewering or mifune mystery remove the critical bonus gained by lightning armor (they work in the same way as sand dust) and also remove lightning enhancement/anbu special tactics/swordbearer boost, so even if darui/danzo barrier effect is still there their standard attacks get depowered a lot. About the more standard attacks i just tested it in arena. I used first skewering and then mifune on him. The standard attacks were still there (he was in position 4 for prompt move)

Mei, mabui, tenten gnw, azure fang. Gakido, Sailor sakura/kabuto, Jigo/Akatsuci, crimson fist. Shizune, kimimaro, azure fang, sailor sakura. Karin/mei/mabui/konan, kurenai, hinata, breeze dancer. These 4 are the first that came in my mind as the ones that suffer the less from missing initiative, but still you won't become sage of six paths with them if you don't have enough initiative to beat 50% of your rivals.

Happens to me too, but the point is, there are days where you get only dangos and shapeshifting cards and days where you get 70 coupons. The average outcome of the wheel is 20 - 30 coupons out of 10 tries that make it very worth the coins spent in excess to spin it.

Combo chance in arena is a lot lower than outside it due to the missing contribute from equipment, that's why in arena you should use talents with high chances for a status to be applied instead of the highest damage ones.

Chikamatsu chiyo is totally useless. I really regret the 2000 coupons i spent on her in my early gaming time. Absolutely avoid to go in a treasure for her. Also the commons in kage are better than her.
