I believe luck is not the term for this. You can't be lucky in a game full of numbers and RNG's. Correct term would be "Chance". Hoping that next time I'll get the chance to get those ninjas. Because I opened 100 Boxes and never got those ninjas. Game of Chance not game of luck.
Here's a great explanation of luck/chance.
"Luck is chance viewed through the spectacles of good or bad fortune. It’s really good news, at least for you, if you win the lottery, and it’s really bad news if you’re one of the passengers on the plane when it crashes. Chance, then, is the objective reality of random outcomes in the real world, while luck is a consequence of the subjective value you place on those random outcomes. Luck, we might say, is chance with a human face. Understanding this gives us a clearer view of reality, and a clearer view of reality means we can choose better courses of action.”
The deception of Luck ~ by David J Hand.
Chance you may influence, however, Luck you may not.
The RNG % aren't being influx by how many boxes you open or may not open. It'll remain the same regardless of your actions. Thus providing a strict ruling when it comes to pulling those said ninjas. Meaning you have to be lucky to get them. Not chance. (If a number of boxes opened did influx the %, it would provide a higher CHANCE of obtaining those ninjas, thus no longer lucky at a certain point since you're influencing that "luck"
Are we good now right?
Hopefully, you understand it all.
