[ Events ] RNG and ninjas from packs

Today, a friend of mine at same server just got Hashirama for 2nd time by spending ~400 coupons. He also managed to get GNW Neji, Chiyo from other events for close to nothing. We both spend about the same amount of ingots/coupons on these events, where my RNG has rewarded me with 80 awesome Deidara fragments over the past 5 months.

I'm curious, is there anything that affects the "RNG" on these lucky packs, such as power or the popular ninja ranking?

    I've only obtained Ao/Deidara/GNW Kiba from Lucky Board, when it was around and I've opened quite a large number of boxes.
    My friends always meme me by addressing that I don't have Hashirama. Contrary to popular belief, we moderators don't have luck.

  • For what it's worth, this post was the initial complaint, and implied that people boasting about their good luck (drawing rare character frags multiple times) would lead to a lowering of the % rate of boxes.

    I'm pretty sure they don't lower the rate of the boxes (at all, not just due to too many people getting stuff), but I obviously have no way to prove that. It's fine if you want to be skeptical and su*ious of them, although I don't really see what that accomplishes.
The good thing about people boasting about their :@ luck is that we see packs ain't rigged like players suspected on certain other events. Personally, I don't think rates will be lowered either, and one of the reasons is that most of the heavy spenders already got him. If Hashirama was the new hot ninja, he would probably be up for sale at a fixed price or available in a insane bidding war.
