I applaud you. Sincerely. Taking game that was already pay2win heavy and make it even worse requires skill. Fuku deals used to be that ultimate event you save your coupons for months for. Now? If you spend 40k you will barely get long obsolete Ronin Naruto. You want GNW Orochimaru or Rinne Festival Deidara? Ha, nope. 40k will give you 50 Oro frags or 70 Deidara frags. There is no longer single event f2p can look for. Congratulations. Just a reminder: without f2p players, your precious walking wallets will soon follow as most of them are here to boost their fragile egos by "owning" f2ps. The moment they can't do that anymore and will need to face mirror lineups, where nothing but Initiative matters, they will bolt and never return. You are willfully bleeding golden goose out.

Lucky Star is an event where you spend ingots or coupons to spin a kind of roulette and get rewards. Mostly you get stars than you can then exchange for rewards. And since Fuku deals give you rewards based on amount of coupons spend, Lucky stars is one of best events to participate in when Fuku deals are active. You can power up greatly when these two events are in the same cycle.

If by awakening you mean skill breakthrough, UK servers need 4* for that as well (with exception of Hashirama (First Hokage) and Tobirama (Second Hokage) as they are relicts from times 3* were enough). As far as I am aware, only China servers can BT 3* ninja.

It has little to do with luck. Oasis nerfed drop rate heavily after players realized jackpot is guaranteed after spending certain amount of coupons (I think it was 36k). Oasis never had issues with exploits and bugs as long as whales benefited from them (Asura BT chases are still bugged), but the moment exploit was f2p friendly it was squashed (Mission Mobilization used to be missing from event cycle for months because there was a way to glitch game into reseting missions infinitely).

While I agree, I do not think we are talking about devs here. Oasis, or whoever is responsible for western markets for this game now, is only kind of publisher. Devs are somewhere in China. And while I do blame devs for breaking this game with bs characters and their BT that pretty much play on autopilot (ironic that game on IP about friendship and teamwork is now all about one man armies winning by themselves), Oasis (or whoever) is responsible for:- paywalling those characters- changing BT requirements to 4*
