Both Ninjas are serving their purpose. Kkssn with teams like jonin minato and 5k madara when you are faster, it will be very unlikely to lose if you have kkssn as a support move 4. since you will double chase with madara draining 40 points of chakra and interrupting whoever triggering a mystery in the opponent team. Edo itachi is good against high damage teams but he wont give you advantage same like kakashi ssn does in overall. What i mean is if you are stronger than most, itachi wont give you much as kakashi will if you are weaker than average then itachi will give better results than kakashi.
