[Help] Tai / Nin Pen question

As someone who looks at the forums fairly often I have never seen a thread or video showing that tai/nin pen has any quantifiable effect in this game. If you know of a video or thread which has some conclusive proof please post the link. I for one would love to see if 4.0 changes the tai/nin pen mechanics which is possible (although improbable given that in 4.0 china version this problem persisted). In the meantime I suggest you don’t use tai/nin pen on 8 Gates or the TI tools. There are much better options,

This has been discussed at length on many occasions, nin/tai pen stats have negligible influence in damage calculations even with large disparities between 2 opponents. While on paper they have a function, in paractice they have no influence in a fight. This has been tested several times in both our version (pre 4.0) and China. So removing them will change nothing to the game, except maybe help players that are wasting an 8 Gates slot using nin/tai pen chakra runes.

Why didn’t you notify the players on Saturday when you learnt there was a visual bug and waited till Monday afternoon? You deliberately held onto information which would dissuade players from spending. Thus, we ask for what we are due, send the top rankings in each server their corresponding reward as is stated in the game. You are trying to justify a * with your argumentation (false advertising).

To the players saying that we knew that the event is cross sever. First as was already explained, not everyone reads the forums. Secondly, the crux of the matter here is that we only saw ourselves on the ranking (or players from heir server). Thus we were lead to believe that they were actually first place for several days. In addition, no warning was sent about the bugged ranking to players in game who remained in the dark until Monday this week. I found a pinned thread in the bugs section which no one ever goes to acknowledging there as a big which was posted on Saturday of last week. Oasis knew fo the problem but since it made of spend more didn’t deign to notify until Monday afternoon. Now that is the real problem here. For the older players, remember when there was a bug which gave 80 Susano’o itachi frags just by being in the ranking without waiting till the end of the event? That was fixed in a matter of hours on the day the event was released.

Let me explain to you why this is messed up. You are in a shopping mall and you cross a vendor showing a Ferrari with a ranking displayed and he tells you as long as you top de ranking you get the car. You SEE THAT THE RANKING KS EMPTY so you decide to pay 200$ and see how things change. 4 DAYS LATER you see you are at the top of the ranking and to consolidate your position you decide to spend some more to dissuade others who might want to participate. 3 DAYS BEFORE THE RANKING CLOSES, the vendor tells you that actually the displayed ranking is not the real ranking and you are not really first place. So you won’t get the car. You tell me, is this a scam or not? This is not about the event being cross server, it’s about the ranking displayed to the players was false.

The problem here is not if the event is single server or cross server. Players (me included) see that on days 1 and 2 of the event there are no players in the ranking, se we decide to spend since apparently the big spenders are skipping this event. Consequently we spend 200$ or more since we want to dissuade people from trying to outbid us. We were led to believe we had a shot at getting 1st place so we were encouraged to spend. Now it seems the mods knew there was a problem with the event but withheld this information from the players as no official notice was sent in game nor posted in the news section fonhe forum. In addition in game no information stating the verb is cross sever was disclosed as the time of this post The people in charge failed to notify when thy knew there was something wrong with this event. This is illegal. The only possible compensation is a full refund or to give out the rewards according to the currently displayed ranking on each sever. I insist the problem is that Oasis knowingly continued this event and encouraged spending with a fake ranking without notifying the consumers. This is the definition of a scam or customer abuse. At the very least please send a Mail to inform the players in game of this problem. Depending on how this is handled I will report this game and I probably won’t be the only one. Yours truly, the biggest spender of server 407.
