This doesn't prove anything. In arena both players, you and the opponent are Lv100. So there goes power-wise. But team and stats-wise, it is completely different. In arena all stats play a significant role. Did you guys expect it not to rely on your stats and be completely random? It's a turn-base game. Of course the question of "Who moves first comes into play." That's how these sort of games work.
