Today, I fought someone in survival trial who obviously had lower initiative than me both overall and individual.
I activated my mystery which was PROMPT on move 1, but his move 1 went first (both characters were on the same grid). I checked his lineup throughly and found that he has 1 equipment with lv8 refinement, but the rest are inferior to mine in term of refinements and rune stones (my highest refinement is only lv7 and my initiative rune stones are all lv5 on move 1, his highest initiative rune is only lv3). Could the lv8 refinement be the reason why he went first?

In survival, your teams initiative is the average of all your gear while the enemy initiative is normal (based on what gear they have equipped). So what probably happened is that your average initiative is lower than the initiative of your opponent's move 1 ninja.

nope in survival the enemy has a little refine boost, but if you're strong enough then that shouldn't be a problem
