There's one possible explanation... what if Jib is reporting to someone else? an invisible supervisor looking on from the shadows? Imagine this. Jib sees the thread you made and then tells the supervisor a synopsis of what happened. Because supervisor only got a synopsis of what's going on, they misinterpret the post. then the supervisor tells Jib to delete under this reasoning. Jib sees the next thread about muting. She reports it to the supervisor, who still only knows about that synopsis. Then the supervisor tells Jib to reply in a certain way and delete.
