For team #2...why would you use Jiraiya and ETR Madara on the same team...? Especially if you're going to be using Madara's +2 passive, which means his barrier would activate at the start of the battle and then you would just...activate Jiraiya's barrier and override it, and then make Madara unable to use his mystery??? It could KIND of make sense if you use Madara's Y barrier passive, so you would launch Jiraiya's barrier first and then Madara's would override it once his health drops. Even still, it seems weird/counterintuitive to me to put Jiraiya, a ninja who seems made to counter Madara by preventing him from mysterying, on the same team with Madara, who relies heavily on his mystery. I mean...is there something I'm missing here?

As much as I don't like the prospect of it, I think it must be Rin. There aren't any female Konoha ninjas that exist in CN that we don't already have other than Summer Kushina, who I really really doubt they would make a seasonal ninja. And it's even more unlikely we will get an exclusive new ninja that hasn't even been released in CN. So yeah, to me all signs point to it being Rin...again.

It's an actually good tool. If you don't have Ashura's Sword (the one that drops from the Pain TI on hard difficulty), it is the best replacement, and many people use it anyway since that sword has such an abysmal drop rate. Quite frankly they are almost equal in quality, the breakpoint where the Sword becomes better is only once you have it leveled up almost to max as far as I know.

Mystery cooldown decrease

Shin's BT still do not make him able to reduce cooldown in round 1. If for some reason you really need to make your Pos 1 Ninja's cooldown 0 in r1, you could maybe put both Akatsuki Orochimaru and Shin on your team, along with Wind main. Then, when Orochimaru's passive activates, he will either directly reduce your P1's cooldown to 0 (25% chance assuming you don't have any clones on the field tho I dunno if his passive can even affect clones), or he will reduce Shin or Wind Main's mystery cooldown to 0 (50% chance) and then they c*e their mystery to reset your P1's cooldown. Then there is the final 25% chance that Orochimaru uses the skill on himself (not sure if he can but I think so) and it doesn't really help you. This is all assuming the probabilities are equal for the passive to hit any given ninja on your team. Now, I don't recommend this strategy/team because most teams with these ninjas, regardless of your p1 carry, are going to be a bit disjointed otherwise and not have the greatest synergy, but this is a possible way to get your cooldown to 0 in round 1.

[Strategy Share] I need help with a PvP lineup (e.g. sage) and an Arena lineup.

This is probably the best/most versatile team you can make right now. I've used this in arena and it's decent. It will also work in PVP. You can swap Hashirama out for Edo Itachi (change LM's chase to Lightning Sword if you do this). This will give you more of a defensive setup since you will get that one debuff reflect and ninjutsu dmg reduction (good if you face SOSP Naruto), but the trade off is you won't be able to suppress ninjas who are immune to debuffs. There's also this hard control variant of the team with both of them, but I would only recommend this team for arena: There's also this team: It's a bit of a weird one but the concept is this: Choji will do a lot of dmg, but if he dies, Nagato might survive bc he is immune to ninjutsu dmg. Then, you wait for Nagato to kill an opponent unit (they should be relatively low health at this point from all the attacks by Choji, LM and Kakuzu), then Kakuzu will revive and he and Choji can finish them off. You could swap Choji out for Ronin Naruto but I think Choji is better here since he can become immune to debuffs on his own, whereas Ronin Naruto needs LM's passive to make him immune. Also Choji has the potential to scale up more than Ronin in a situation where you can't guarantee Ronin will be able to do a ton of attacks. In general, Ronin isn't very good in arena and he mainly shines when there is like a 200k+ power gap between opponents.

[Lineup] Help for new lineup with Rinnegan Tobi and Edo Itachi?
"
Try these: P1 GNW Madara, P2 Edo Itachi, P3 Hokage Hashirama, P4 Fire main. Talents: 3,2,3,4,2, summon: Demon Fox (or Kamatari). You could also use the Death Mirage passive over Bani Chakra, which will be better depends on who you're fighting. But, ETR Madara is pretty common right now, so with this team you're actually gonna use Hashirama before Itachi to break Madara's barrier. Then when you get more chakra from his barrier effect or Fire main you c*e Itachi. Itachi's reflect should keep you safe from getting immediately controlled yourself, too. P1 GNW Madara, P2 Edo Itachi, P3 Rin, P4 Water or Fire main. For Water, talents are: 3,2,3,3,4, summon: Kyushoku Deer. For Fire: 3,2,3,4,3, summon: Fukurokumaru (or Ninja Cat). Rin+Itachi decreasing the damage you take should help you not get blitzed. If you pick Water main you just increase your healing and become even harder to kill, if you go with Fire main you get some leech and otherwise general mixed support.

If you are a newer player/f2p I think probably not. I'm assuming you're talking about the new version of Hiruzen, the Hokage Successor one? He seems like a good blitz or even support ninja but you'd need fairly high power/stats to use him effectively and I wouldn't recommend him as the first ninja to buy after saving your coupons for months. But if they put him in Fuku milestone rewards and you can get him while getting another ninja or other stuff you need then that's pretty good.
