I need help setting up a good team for chapter 7 plot instances (namely the ones that has you fighting Hidan), the level 70 Ninja exam, and if possible a good set-up for Survival Trial and other PVP (Arena/Ranked) and Nine Tails Invasion. My power is over 14000. I'll list my ninjas below, as well as what summons I currently have available.

Ninja war kiba or naruto is good to use in pve since their clones soak damage and they have a guaranteed chase starter with their auto attacks. So you already combo in round 1, hinata is very strong overall on the frontline, she c*so acupunture that hidan. Then just experiment with the 4th ninja however you want. On your main I advice taking the talent + damage for everyone above 50% hp and take the talent that makes you immune to knockdown etc for pve. Just kill the enemy before they kill you, use the interrupt skill on your main so that you have control over what skill the enemy uses.

None of this helps when fighting Hidan in the plot instance, especially not in "The Immortal" mission. He does a lot of damage in that one, plus he has those bodyguards that poison my team. I usually end up with a couple of my ninjas down. I've already been using Naruto on my team. I was originally using Naruto, Guy and Tenten. My main was in front, with Naruto behind him, and Tenten behind Naruto. I did forget to mention in my main post that my power is over 14000.

You could try using ino in combination with shikimaru to beat that mission specifically. Just use chaos on hidan every turn and he will kill his own team. If you also use ninja war kiba you can cast chaos on 2 people every turn pretty much

I don't usually do fights manually. Most of the time, the auto works fine on its own. I should also mention the Hidan I really have trouble with isn't the one that's required to complete the mission. It's the high difficulty one, to get 3 battle points.

I really recommend fighting manually if you are struggling with a mission on auto. Frankly the skill targeting and skill order is often less than optimal in auto.

As I already said, I don't have problems with the mission on auto for just completing it. It's just the high difficulty fights in these particular missions. The ones before them, I was able to get through without any trouble. And either way, I'm not exactly adept to know which talents to use, or what character to focus on in manual. And I've also noticed that "manual" is partly a laugh, because I tried using it in a Ninja Exam before, and outside of my main attacking who I select, the other ninjas just fought whoever anyway.

I am working towards Kimimaro, Juugo, Karin and Earth main. Right now Lee/Gai is there for Juugo. seems pretty solid. Put Naurto in for Karin if I need clones and not lose atk

It would help if people actually told me where to place them in a lineup, by the way, instead of just listing off ninjas, like I should know where to place them..

With manual your mystery skills of ninjas in your team will target the one selected. The automatic attacks will target people in front of them.

I understand its the higher difficulty fight that your having trouble with and thats where I recommend using manual on if your struggling. And as mentioned before, if you use ninja war kiba, ino, shikimaru you will have chaos on hidan every turn, he will kill his own team. You c*so interrupt his skill with your main whenever he uses it. AI is pretty predictable and follows a pattern. You will see in which round who tends to use a skill from the enemy team and then just interrupt it once you know their order.

And if your really struggling even while trying everything, just get more power first before you try again. You do not really need the 3 battle points anyway untill your 70 when you can get tsunade. That 1 extra battle point will not make a difference untill then.

Also when it comes to pve you will have to adapt to the enemy team. Especially when it comes to ninja exam. There is plenty of threads with tips on how to beat certain ninja exam stages more easily. In survival trial I recommend using a team with sustainability that can get you through many missions without losing ninjas. Then use more ninjas on the last fight and breakthrough fights if they are too hard for you. Guy, naruto and gaara are pretty strong in survival trial because naruto : clones tank damage, guy: everyone gets life leech, gaara: gets shield every round so doesnt lose much hp inbetween fights. note: dont use them all in the same team, just using 1 or 2 is fine. On your main take the 3rd skill that shields 2 people every turn.

With placements... just look at the enemy team and place them accordingly. If your going with ninja war kiba, ino, shikimaro. Place ninja war kiba in front of the target you want chaos on. Use hinata or main always on frontline, hinata can be used in almost any pvp fight and mission if you have someone on the team that causes repulse and just place the rest behind it. Try to have ninjas that start chases with a mystery skill in either move 2 or 3 order so that you use it before your opponent does. Generally try to have your main in move 1 because the interrupt has priority.

Actually, I'm 2 battle points extra that I'm missing, since the mission afterwards I figured I'd be struggling with Hidan again doing the high difficulty one, so I skipped it. Also, I already checked threads for the Ninja Exam. People do talk about level 70's exam, but not for Crimson Fist.

And again, listing ninjas isn't helping me. I'm not going to know where to place them to make them effective. And just guessing where to place them "according to the enemy" isn't going to help either. It's a lot easier for me to see like a screenshot of how they're placed, and what talents to use, instead of just saying "use this type of talent", without telling me any names of said talent whatsoever.

Ugh I give up.. when it comes to talents I explained the description, you can just read it yourself and click them.. your a lvl 66 crimson fist, did you ever read over your skills?

With positions, its harder to get a screenshot and ask help for positioning with every single enemy your facing... look up in the forums and read up some guides about positioning so you can do it yourself. It really isn't that hard once you know how it works. Try to play the game, dont let others play it for you. I took the patience to answer several of your questions but to me it seems like your not really reading them and attacking me instead, it seems like you know more about the game than me so have fun.

The thing is, I've been able to get by fairly easily, at least with the plot instances, when I just used a lineup largely used for the Ninja Exam (one that was good for Exam 65-69) up until now. I figured that if I got a good lineup for exam 70, it might help me continue doing well in the plot instances, at the very least.

Also, when you bring up "figuring out lineups", you do know I can't really do this for Ranked Battle or Arena, right? You can't see someone's lineup in either one to figure out a good formation. And Arena doesn't let you see who you're fighting at all until the match starts. Ranked at least let's you choose your opponent. But both of them start fights immediately after you choose to fight. You can't customize your lineup for the fight at hand.

Just consider my feedback to be for survival trial, instances and ninja exam. Also what will work in ninja exam or survival trial might not work in other places. Ninja exam is mainly about targeting and stopping the right people, or dealing enough damage in case of the sannin with their summons. Survival trial is more about sustain. Heals, shields etc. Instance is pretty easy in comparison

like it was said before, it depends on what you want to do, being instance survival , ninja exam, you just have to consider the right aspects of each battle and come up with a line up that suits it best.

You must not have looked through the threads very hard, because Amopakamu has posted the formations he's been using on the Ninja Exam up to Exam 81. And yes, he's an Earth Main.

Here's the thing - when you get up to the high 50s/60s in level, you can't just brute force your way through instances and exams and trials the way a lot of people do as low level players. The game is designed to draw people in, so the first 30-40 levels is a piece of cake. Moving beyond that, it takes more time and skill to craft good teams and considering the addition of new abilities, summons, and other aspects that make the game strategically more interesting. This is exactly why Ranked and Arena hides your opponent's lineups - and if you lose, so what? Just try again.

Normally I wouldn't comment on a thread like this, largely because I don't play as the same main, but the problem I have here is that you're asking for someone to hand you the answer on a silver platter, when as a Lvl 66 player you should have the experience to figure it out yourself.

x Karin Kimimaro
x Lee Main

I change them up depending on what i'm feeling. lee/main go mid or bottom. ka'maro go top or mid.
I use stone fist mystery, shield standard, his first chase (repulse), pose of ninja and steel body. the white snake summons too for now.
