in my sage world there was 42k and 98k in the same field.... so yea, da firetrucks? should just bracket in by 10k powers =s, 20000-29999, 30000-39999 and so on so forth...

As I said in a previous post it would not be fair to split SWB by 10k power. That would mean players who have spent money are losing out on potential rewards while players who have spent next to nothing earn $5-$15 worth of advanced refines along with other rewards.

If you truly care about fairness try to look at this objectively. A player with 45k power doesn't deserve to get $15 worth of advanced refines simply because everyone wanted to lump the more powerful players together.

Fairness means you spread out the power across however many instances of SWB. Players who stood NO chance of winning in SWB before this update do not deserve a free pass now.

Nice wins but.. how well would you fair against 120k? Would you still be able to win?

I'm 62k. I can beat most 70ks and a fair chunk of 80ks. There is absolutely nothing I can do when someone 100k - 140k comes after me the moment I get a winning streak. A single loss means tough luck, I'll not get any adv refines.

oh right every other 60k power player is f2p im the only spender there.
everyone above 60k power spent something on the game if he wants to admit or not

oh ill get crushed im sure of that ^^ but i had stronger people i couldnt win before too, so why should i be in a bracket now where i am the strongest

For players with low enough pow to not face the top spenders, you'll get to be top dog once per 5 sages. If you used to get adv runes consistently, you are now gonna get them a lot less. If you used to not get any runes (due to no sage, or due to being too weak), you are now better off with getting some rewards once in a while.

I didn't have sage for over 3 months. I'm forced to fight players 4 - 5 months older than my server age in cross server events. I'm already so far behind in init that 500$ on adv refines won't let me catch an old f2p player. I finally get a merger and have sage again; and then this cross server sage happens. I'm back to getting 0 adv refines.

Players like myself will be drafted into brackets with top region spenders every time, with no chance of ever reaching top 3. This means no rewards from sage again; the event might as well not exist for this reason.

mhh i guess i understand where you are comming from, we just have to hope that we get the reward update soon too because in china you get adv refines all the way down to rank 10 (afaik rank 10 gets 1 adv refines and the higher your rank the more you get)

At the moment we are still collecting all needed data. However, I can tell you that we are aware of this is issue and we will try to improve the matchmaking system. Sadly, I can't give you a specific date or plan when it will be implemented to the game.

But we are working on it !

I dont think the matchmaking is such a big problem its mostly the rewards.
The more imortant thing would be to stretch out the rewards to lets say top 10 in every field, than a lot more people would be happy with the xserver change

Just because you were placed in a somehow fair sage does not me*l of us were.Right now placement is a problem that needs to be fixed

it is possible.. healing teams can win the power difference if you know how to use your heals and stuff... but other than that its kinda impossible to win versus someone with similar teams but 20k bp difference .. the dmg is way too far away

Maybe if you run, for example,a healers team but when you get a similar team as opponent with 20k power difference is another thing

there mb 2-3 players that are 90k+ and thats ok they need to be in a bracket too, you say it like half of the people were 40k and the other half was 90k power. Lets be honest you wont be the one with highest power in xserver swb if you arent an extrem high spender but that doesnt mean you cant have good fights there or do well there. I agree that with full brackets (like we in s17 always had) it would be better if more than only top 3 get rewards, but the matchmaking was working as intended (we knew swb is grouping players after lvl first and only looks at power when it decides which side you are on) This post was last edited by Syldor at 2017-5-28 12:13

That's what i've said...i even got hard time to see how anyone can overcome even a 6-10k power diff...if your enemy takes the barrier(and first ninja too), you're done for it, no matter what team you use(immortal teams are an exception)

Man you use the immortal ignite/poision combo...that's the one team that can win against just about anything(except an exact same team), besides in that fight you got lucky with that acu on sakura...but tell me when you win a battle against a real immortal team( water main, tsunade, sailor sakura)

where the hell do you see an immortal team on my side? im running 1 healer and 3 damage dealers. my watermain is damage and no i didnt not get lucky i just oneshot meg666 tsunade t2
second fight is that "real immortal team" that you are talking about and i oneshot the tsunade too. there is no luck in these fights, my team is made to beat immortal teams because they are everywhere

edit: sry to ask but you do know that the player is always on the left side of the fight?
