Mine is the moment I get a streak, someone 40 - 70k higher will camp me out for a free kill. No amount of skill will let you win in those situations. Consider yourself lucky to be not lumped in with the big spenders.

Nice wins but.. how well would you fair against 120k? Would you still be able to win?

I'm 62k. I can beat most 70ks and a fair chunk of 80ks. There is absolutely nothing I can do when someone 100k - 140k comes after me the moment I get a winning streak. A single loss means tough luck, I'll not get any adv refines.

For players with low enough pow to not face the top spenders, you'll get to be top dog once per 5 sages. If you used to get adv runes consistently, you are now gonna get them a lot less. If you used to not get any runes (due to no sage, or due to being too weak), you are now better off with getting some rewards once in a while.

I didn't have sage for over 3 months. I'm forced to fight players 4 - 5 months older than my server age in cross server events. I'm already so far behind in init that 500$ on adv refines won't let me catch an old f2p player. I finally get a merger and have sage again; and then this cross server sage happens. I'm back to getting 0 adv refines.

Players like myself will be drafted into brackets with top region spenders every time, with no chance of ever reaching top 3. This means no rewards from sage again; the event might as well not exist for this reason.
