All right, so they nerfed great plates by adding the bells packs that are practically useless for the vast majority of the players (as more then enough drops from infinite illusion packs and also they are cheap in grocery store), then they stealthily nerfed lucky stars as well. Not to mention the awful change in balloon event (taking away one of the rare sources of secret scroll plates and command flags)... Yeah, very cool Oasis, very cool, thanks so much!... Wonder what's next..

There are f2p teams that can compete with at least some of the whale teams, but also you have to be strategic: if u keep meeting ppl you can't beat it's better to stop and go back later, or on another day.

Depends on what ninjas do you have, and how much do you value getting support ninjas vs getting power. Jiraiya and Orochi are both very good supports, they definitely have a high place in f2p meta, in whale meta much less so, especially with Orochi feeding Shisuis. They also synergize with each other pretty well, and have wide variety of applications, regular pvp, arena, 3v3, pve like ninja exams and nature trainings. So it could worth pick them up. That said, doing the 60k fuku for power can get amazing results as well. Ninjas come and go, power is what stays with you. And soon, we will have new meta supports, like NY Hashi skillbreak, swimsuit Rin, that are already present in the chinese version, so their arrival is only a matter of time.
