9/10 times the manga is better and has extra stuff that didn't make the anime. But I will say the fights are nowhere near as good in general, they're usually much MUCH shorter in the manga with no choreography. So the best way is to read the manga but every time you get up to a fight, switch to the anime, and then back to the manga once the fights over
