Really frown on false information here. Especially on this subject.Well turning frowns upside down is why you're a mod! Thank you for some nice statistical backing behind your position. This is good food for thought. Trying to play the game without the Jonin medal and those nice recharge bonuses is certainly viable. It just feels like you need to input more time. The more time I've spent with the game (really fulfilling time IMO) has changed my opinion somewhat. The medals seem really helpful if you don't have as much time to play, as it enables you to recover things you've missed out on etc. But if you keep playing for all the events, get your dailies in, etc. There isn't nearly as harsh a gap as there is in other games I've played. They've done a * up job designing the system.While these are my feelings on the subject at the moment, I retain an open mind and enjoy people who do the work of really plotting out benefits of paying for the content. So thank you everyone who posted here and contribute to offer unique opinions that further the discourse.

Very good point. There are many different places where money enhances the disparity between players much greater than any gap in knowledge of gameplay between players.

Exactly, it's like, in time these 5 dollar exclusives won't matter. But they are there. And they are little pay to win hurdles. So for five days there is a new thing that you need to wait to beat. if you don't mind dropping a little amount of money, you're fairly viable. But if you don't spend anything, you are at a timed disadvantage I would say.

Actually if you "recharge" (buy currency) five days in a row you get a 4 star gaara. which in young servers makes you neigh-immortal in arena confrontations. Can be overcome, but very frustrating.
