The mindset they probably have is that they can plausibly get away with it in the other servers because a good deal can't understand exactly what it is they're saying. That sort of behavior probably trickles down to their own servers seeing as how they weren't held responsible there, they can do as they like with little backlash. They should be held accountable for going too far if such is the case. If it's reaching a point the line is thought to have been crossed, it probably is.

I don't think we'll get a notice of event items for a two reasons, though I'm sure there are more. One and probably the most important knowing in advance, even if it's a day prior would allow players to plan their spending or lack thereof. It could cost Oasis money, so that's probably a no go. The second is that decisions are probably made last minute as to what to include or remove from events. If they go ahead and state what's there, it's essentially making a promise they might not be able to keep which in turn brings about backlash they likely don't want to deal with.

Well get him, people were just complaining about how we were getting ninjas every week or so which probably lead to the slowing down of his release. Yes, people were complaining about more content so that's the boat we're in, but we'll get him sooner or later. It's just a matter of when. I don't expect him in this upcoming event cycle as a result, though I'd like to be proven wrong.

I agree with this. Unless the compensation equals the value of those frags then either remove said ninjas from who bought the packs, refund their coupons(Which is very possible by the way), or a mistake is being made. Again, if you do offer compensation you'll likely have to pinpoint those who bought the packs if you intend to let them keep said ninjas and deny them such otherwise it defeats the point altogether. The best way to go about this is a simple rollback. It solves near everything, especially the no win scenario that was created. You can offer compensation to everyone, but then that will just create another mess altogether where those who took advantage of the packs just end up even better off than they were prior.

Disappointing prizes, they're just lackluster all over again. I'm just going with since they're in this event cycle they can go to the back of the line and make way for prizes people actually want. (Though I know that's probably not true given Masked Man's inevitable return.)
