If you're high enough level to have Shurado, I think you should be running Poison Tai instead. Then you'll find that Kankuro's puppet will actually work as a tank in the front row, taking punishment for everything. His mystery isn't really your focus, because your main's Shark and Shino's Interrupt are. Besides, if the puppet goes down, in round 3, you have a new puppet anyway! More tanking, more more more!! :lolBut yeah, with Poison Tai, you're hitting them with stacks of poison all the * time, and that really adds up to a crapload of damage. People underestimate the Status Builds. Your only real issue will be Lightning Mains who run sword teams and get immune to status the first two turns. Hmm? It's also based on front row middle row back row, too, because when my team was more in the back, lightnings were hurting me. I stuck someone at the primo top-right spot, and they outpaced them.

Hmm. Honestly, though, with a lot of people running Sage Naruto, I need to get my nuke off faster than them, so I've got Naruto in the front row. To do that though, I also have to have something tanking, hence GNW Kankuro's Sasori puppet which attracts autoattacks.
