Then start doing SS during times when most people are less likely to check the plunder tab. Such as that 10min interval in the start of 9tails invasion and the actual fighting of 9tails, or when the regular plunderers are offline. Don't just mindlessly refresh the convoy missions finding that SS knowing that you have a high chance of getting plundered.

This. I've been always telling this to people who distribute boxes. I end up looking like a selfish prick but the thing is, once the most active people in group got their boxes, the people who did not get a box should be able to figure out that they need to be more active and outgoing. Thus, it c*so benefit the group, if not the server, to be a bit active.
