EDIT: oops sry i meant to reply to the guide not the person i just replied to. 2nd EDIT: Who ever wrote the guide, Rope is a the best sage tool and it gives real power, as I'm pretty sure it's the only ninja tool that gives critical AND injury as substats. You're wrong about control it's still an important stat but a stat you wouldn't want extra investment in. If your control is too low compared to your opponent you can get the control failed message. Initiative is a huge factor in the game as it decides who moves first(ofc this only really useful for position one), besides position one which you talked about, you could argue some ninjas work better with lower initiative. For example sailor sakura vs hanzo, both are last position. If hanzo beats ss in initiative then after he runs his debuff clearing, ss can give him a layer of poison with her standard. If ss wins then ss launches her standard first allowing hanzo to remove the poison as he moves after her. The rest of the guide is ok but you'll need a better layout, and the objective meaning is wrong, you don't want to invest in these stats or else ppl will go around bragging how they plundered you and how their bp was this low compared to yours. This is the correct amount of fake stats. Fake Stats: These Stat's are basically useless. NIN/TAI P3n3tration: don't believe me test it out, it affects little to no damage. It's better to invest in other stats in 8 gates/reforging ninja tools ELMT Resistance: this stat actually might work but think about it if you don't run into a ninja that uses (insert elmt you put resistance against) then it's useless and other traits are better to reforge in your ninja tools. Life Recovery: The life you gain at the end of every round is very little and it's better to reforge more important stats in your ninja tools/put in your 8 gates chakra. Damage reduction: This stat affects very little and it's better to invest in other stats. Stat's that don't need extra investment: These Stat's are useless for extra investment(8 gates/reforging ninja tools) but you'll still need upgrade the stat like in runestones.(THESE STATS MIGHT NOT BE KINDA USLESS IF YOU'RE RUNNING A NINJA THAT HAS A NICHE WITH THAT STAT like jonin minato, sus itatchi, etc.) Control: You need a really big margin of control over your opponent to initiate control failed, so just upgrade it up with cave keys and don't invest in it. Combo: Most r2 mystries cause a status that you can combo, and you need quit a bit more combo than your opponent to completely block all combos by standards in r1.
