You may as well switch to Water and run Mabui, Mei & Tenten if you want to have a decent time in PVP. If you had Darui you could run iruka, WB Asuma or Mifune, and Darui as a Lightning character, but it kind of looks like you'd be better off as Water especially with Tobirama.

You can go either way and not really be wrong, but I personally think you should focus on getting your entire team to 5 and then after that, in future rebates, jump from 5 to 7, and then from 7 to 9 if you happen to do well enough to get adv refines in sage.It's been my method and I'm pretty happy with it, I'm not really a fan of frontloading refines onto one ninja, it works for some teams though.

They really need to give people a way to access and upgrade those characters even if they aren't useful, for example give me 30 Konohamaru Corps frags every month I reach sage in arena, not just the first time. Regular Konohamaru was some silly facebook thing which means if you don't use facebook you're screwed, which shouldn't be the case.

It's a funny topic for me because I'm the worst offender I've seen so far of level freezing (I've searched through a good number of servers for people close to my power-to-level ratio and found several who are close but usually not quite) and I never even started doing it with PVP in mind, I did it because I just wanted to see what would happen if one didn't level unless they had to and to make it easier on myself as a free player to save materials & resources.
