I starting playing shortly after release and joined one of the few available servers at that time (S1 in my case). Unfortunately however, there is a significant difference between my timezone and that of the servers. The result being I can't participate in the majority of events. I'd rather not restart from scratch with a new character. I would also assume many other players who joined early are in a similar situation.

Would it be possible to perhaps give players who signed up early (within the first week perhaps) a one time offer to move their character to another, more convenient, server?
