The bank never got a request.
and Oasis believe that it went through BUT was cancelled.

Weird...does your friend purchase often? :O
Haven't had this happen to me yet...

Might have been an error in Oasis' system....possibly lag of some sort on your friend's computer that made Oasis think the purchase was done, but then it never connected to the bank and caused an error making it think it was cancelled...
