Summary: A continuing story of the 5 Naruto Online Mains in a slightly different universe than the actual Naruto. As Crimson, Azure and Scarlet reaches the central tower, they come across a shocking scene.
***The settings have been slightly shifted from the Naruto universe to match the story. They'll be explained as the story progresses, but don't be surprised if you suddenly find someone that was alive dead, or someone dead alive. =D

Note: I'm using character titles for the names temporarily (Midnight Azure Scarlet Breeze Crimson), but definitely willing to decide on an actual name. Comment below if you've got any name suggestions!

Note 2: Rated it as T because I plan on writing some material that should definitely be rated like that. However, not all of them are necessarily T.







Forest of Death (11): Teamwork

“Water Style: Water Dragon Jutsu!” “Fire Style: Dragon Flame Jutsu!”

Midnight looked off to the side as the two dragons rushed towards him, both dragons dashing across the ground as they forced Midnight to jump high upwards. “Still too slow-“

“Earth Style: Bottom Force!” Crimson suddenly shot out from a nearby tree, jumping into the sky right behind Midnight. “Can’t dodge if you’re up in the air, can you, Midnight?!”

“What-“ Midnight looked down at where Crimson was. He should’ve died, or at least paralyzed from the shock; as he looked down, he noticed another Crimson, lying on the floor before becoming a cloud of smoke. He also noticed Sai with a sly smile on his face as he held out his scroll, with large enough words for him to read at that height: 'That was *.'

Scarlet and Azure looked upwards at Midnight and Crimson, both only inches away from each other. Midnight kicked his tongue as he realized it was a clone; probably one of Azure’s water clones under Scarlet’s Genjutsu. He tried to stab Crimson with his blade again, but was blocked as Crimson gripped his sword harmlessly. “Not this time.” Midnight infused his blade with chakra, but Crimson still held his blade; he forced it out of Midnight’s grip as he tossed it far away, ignoring the shock.

Full of confidence, Crimson yelled. “1v1 me bud. Les go!” Midnight kicked his tongue, charging his entire body in a lightning cloak. He launched *s faster than what Azure’s eyes could catch, but she knew for a fact that nobody in the Genin group can beat Crimson in close combat when he had used Bottom Force; for all she knew, he was invincible.

While practicing his taijutsu, Crimson had tried to learn the lotus technique from Guy. He had the physique and power to do it, but he lacked one thing - speed to get out of the spin to avoid hurting himself. Crimson desperately tried to improve, but every time he would end up crashing down along with the enemy, taking the same damage. So instead, he opted to face it head on by learning another technique that prevented the damage - Bottom Force.

Crimson didn’t bother blocking any of Midnight’s attacks - as fast and precise as they might be, it didn’t hurt him in the slightest, even if it hit a pressure point. He only had a minute of invincibility, but that was enough. Crimson gripped Midnight by the waist, and made a serious face as he grabbed him tightly, forcibly rotating their body head-first to the ground. “This is payback - from everyone you killed meaninglessly!”

The two Genins rocketed downwards, making a huge impact on the ground from the force of the rotation and gravity as they formed a crater, releasing tons of dust and smoke. As it cleared, Scarlet and Azure rushed over, as well as Breeze. Crimson stood up, stretching his neck as he stared down at Midnight, knocked out cold from the impact.

“This guy really needs to work out.” Crimson slung Midnight’s arm over his shoulders, climbing out of the crater he made. Crimson gave a thumbs up to Scarlet and Azure before looking over to Breeze, staring at her team mate with a confusing expression Crimson couldn’t understand.

"He’s fine, Breeze. Don’t worry…he’ll be up and running again in a few hours.” Crimson looked over at Midnight’s knocked out face, hanging off from his shoulder. “…Actually, maybe a day or two.” Breeze merely smiled and nodded, slightly teary. “I’m glad you’re safe.”

Sai stood up, walking over with a bright smile. “Well fought. But here, I’ll take Midnight.”

“…You didn’t even care when he was fighting, and now you’ll take him?” Crimson looked at Sai weirdly, but soon slung him over Sai’s shoulders instead. “Actually, never mind…if you guys cared, I wouldn’t be standing up right now.” Crimson joined his team, waving at Breeze as they walked into the building while Scarlet looked back once more at Sai, wondering if that guy even knew how to care before going in.

Breeze gave a disdainful look at Midnight before heading off inside. “…Not so invincible now, are you.”

Sai stood there looking over at Midnight, hanging on his shoulders. He wordlessly smiled as he followed Breeze into the tower, dragging Midnight over with him.



I've split the post today due to word count, and also had to figure out a problem with a specific wording that the system didn't like.
