Summary: A continuing story of the 5 Naruto Online Mains in a slightly different universe than the actual Naruto. As Crimson, Azure and Scarlet reaches the central tower, they come across a shocking scene.

***The settings have been slightly shifted from the Naruto universe to match the story. They'll be explained as the story progresses, but don't be surprised if you suddenly find someone that was alive dead, or someone dead alive. =D


Note: I'm using character titles for the names temporarily (Midnight Azure Scarlet Breeze Crimson), but definitely willing to decide on an actual name. Comment below if you've got any name suggestions!

Note 2: Rated it as T because I plan on writing some material that should definitely be rated like that. However, not all of them are necessarily T.




Forest of Death (10): Heartless


The three leaf Genins closed in towards the central tower, thankfully without encountering more enemies. Scarlet was getting slightly worried over it; although they were lucky to find the Earth scroll from the Genins they met, something was amiss. “Hey…isn’t it weird? How come nobody else is around?”


Crimson shrugged and made a Guy-sensei-smile, turning to look at Scarlet. “It’s my lucky day.”


Azure laughed as she saw Crimson, seeing the influence take over. Scarlet sighed as the tower started to come into view. “Oh hey, we’re almost there.”


As they entered the clearing, something they couldn’t see in the trees came into view. The ground was *tered with corpses of Genins who took the exam, with 3 people seeming to guard the entrance. Azure gasped as she covered her mouth in shock. Crimson gritted his teeth at the sight, clenching his fists, while Scarlet stared sharply at the people guarding the gate - Midnight and his team.


Scarlet examined the situation carefully - he’s never seen Sai fight before unless in a one-on-one situation. Breeze was still sitting down, simply staring at the distance. If the three of them went against Midnight, they might have a chance of winning if Scarlet could predict his moves accordingly, assuming the other two didn’t join in. Scarlet formed a hand sign as they entered the clearing.


Midnight locked eyes with Scarlet as he got up, seemingly bored. “…Well, if it isn’t my dear friends.”


Breeze, sitting a few metres away from Midnight, looked up upon hearing him as she saw Crimson, along with Azure and Scarlet. She knew they’d make it at some point, but at the same time she wished they hadn’t come.


Crimson walked up a few steps, furious at what he saw as his anger seeped through his voice as he pointed at Midnight. “Did you do this?”


Midnight rested his hands on the hilt of his sheathed blade, giving a cold stare at Crimson. “Give up the exam.”


Crimson took a deep breath in, trying to calm down. “I asked…did you do this.”


Midnight *ed his head as he looked at Crimson with a puzzled look on his face. “Yeah, I did. Is that a problem?”


Azure put her hand over Crimson’s back, trying to stop him from attacking Midnight. Azure and Scarlet knew their friend wasn’t the type to get along with Midnight; although, nobody really got along with him ever.


Crimson ignored Azure as he launched himself at Midnight with a battle cry. He aimed a right arm punch straight at Midnight’s face, but Midnight easily leaned his body to the left, dodging the attack.


“Too obvious.” Midnight drew his blade, stabbing Crimson at the arm he punched with. The blade went through his right arm as Blade channeled his chakra again. “Chidori Blade: Shadow.”


Crimson’s entire body sizzled in lightning, the charge overflowing from the blade *ing his arm. Crimson clenched his teeth, trying to stay conscious.



11 was already written, but the system doesn't seem to accept it for some reason. I'll try to get it fixed ASAP.
