World boss retreat and cooldown

I have started doing world boss differently th*ual to make my efficiency rise.
Scarlet Blaze, Anko, Iruka, Sasuke.
After the 4th round, when the last ninja attacks, I hit retreat.
The last ninja attacks, then Scarlet Clone attacks and I retreat without getting bijou-dama in the face.
Now, sometimes, there is a period of 1-2 seconds, when I am allowed to move, even though I'm in cooldown.
I can click the minimap, and begin walking even though I am in cooldown.
I admit I have used this exploit to get a few seconds before the competition but I feel obligated to report it since it seems no one has observed it.
