why some ninja have a different aweken material?

so just discover recently that my Ao which is gold +1 need this awakening material to get to gold +2 :

while my Guy (same level, gold +1) need this awakening material to get to gold +2 :

what happen? is this a bug? or they works as intended?
i notice that my tenten is the same with guy, while my asuma wb is the same with ao to reach gold +2.
if things is works as intended, why they need different material?

note, i dont remember about awaken material for my main to get +2. already +2 ;P

so if any master here read this thread, please help explain this to me.
