Don't go into war thinking that you're gonna win, then. Until server merges happen, and god knows when that's going to be, you're not going to win, especially if you're as outmatched as you say.

Think of it as a way to get free group coins, group contributions, and on Saturday, free seal scroll packs. That's the best you can do.

Although, I have to say, jumping ship and abandoning your group, especially as one of the strongest players, is a pretty *my thing to do.

you have 2 choice basically.
1. join the strongest group
2. stay in your group. and formulate a plan with you group mate.

either way, both of them will bore you at some point.
1. you will get bore because you always win and feel like there no good fight anymore.
2. you will get bore because you lose too often that it make you sick.

your choice though.

oh wait, there is a 3rd and 4th choice actually. you said that there are 4 group that active. if you want beat the strongest group, why not disband the weakest 2 groups and join the second powerful group?? but again, there are consequence from this option.
the 4th is what you already state, quit the game and be happy :lol :victory:

I've come to far. I realized I can't quit and let my group down. It just *s that players from the disbanded team went to the strongest team. We really could of had a nice balanced war. I just hope the server merge will fix this so we don't have to play 3 accounts just to keep our groups alive.

Yeh it *s but on the plus side you got rid of them early, better play with good people then strong people.

If you are on good terms with some of the other groups on your server you could invite them to join you, a lot of small groups might really consider it cause i imagine they are strugling with no convoy partners and dead group chat etc.

my server is same. one strongest group can fill all lands with 2 or 3 sets. i think 2nd group barely fill all lands. and rest is just 3 or 7 ppl joining for rewards.

It honestly is upsetting that the group that disbanded, most members went on to join the already most powerful group instead of spreading out and trying to make things even. However, many people like being in the more powerful groups and would rather be in a winning group than trying to help other groups become more competitive to compete for the top. That's just how things are unfortunately, and whenever server merges happen, things will liven up.

That happens to us too. There's a top group, then 2 groups equal in strength(I am in one of those), and a group who is always the fourth in rank. But because we are not giving up, we're winning against the top group now, two streaks guys :D
Just don't give up, you may lose now, but tomorrow is another story. The only thing that you can do is get stronger while there's no war. Then give your best shot at strategy when the moment of truth comes. :D

That's the sad truth nowadays. They care less about competing .. all that matters to them is winning ...

What Server you on hopefully you get merged with S7 it feels like that at the moment hear as The Group I'm in We losing members every week from in activeness and we almost lost to the NO.2 Group on are server so hopefully the Merge happens.:loveliness: O yeah also man hold it down don't quit enjoy the game if you can just gotta Patient bud.

Honestly, it happens to me too.

But it's okay, in the stronger group, players usually get seal packs waay longer than the weaker group due to the huge participation. Packs have to be rotated even further before one can get their hands on it.

Like XYZDream stated, just think GNW as a way to get free goodies! :P

Maybe a bit off topic, but had to complain about the groups matching. We have a simmilar situation to what OP said. We have 1 dominating group, 3 groups simmilar power and 2 small groups with 3 ppl with multiple accounts that manage to qualify for saturday war. The issue is that all the 'serious groups' end up in the same bracket, that means that the dominating group goes to the finals, but the problem is that the 'inactive' groups get a free pass to the finals and get almost max amount of packs that go to 'waste' on 3 ppl in group, when other struggling groups would benefit more from them. It's not enough that we can't beat the top group in anyway either of the 3 competing groups, but there is seemingly no way for either of those groups to get at least 2nd place.. it happened 5 times in a row so i doubt it's a coincidence

Yes i agree the GNW matching is super rigged. Any competition should have a form of seeding and GNW does basically the opposite of that. That is just pointless and I just noticed its not even based on qualifier PTs but group level so thats even more nonsensical. I had sent a ticket in but all i got was will forward your suggestion to developer but it is and will be a serious problem sooner or later especially even more so when servers merge and the top groups from each server meet each other and knock out one another leaving them no chance for legend packs.

I just join for the group points.

I'm not really convinced that group lvl has something to do. One of the 'inactive' groups i mentioned is higher lvl th*, cuz it was popular before, but ppl left it and it's being kept alive by a few individuals. And as i said before it always gets a free pass to finals. All the active, almost full groups end up on one side with the unbeatable top group, and the rest 2 groups that miraculously qualify for war end up on the other side. It's not about the packs that much as it is with motivation. Explain to our guildies how we always get knocked out in 1st or 2nd round with 30-35 participants but the group that every1 knows has 3-8 ppl participating gets to finals every time. Frustrating.. And 1000 points will keep u satisfied for so long...

Keep struggling if you want competition. Competition doesn't mean, you need to win. Trying to win means competition.

And if fun means winning for you, then you can join them. My group doesnt win GNW, usually dont even get in the semi final, but I am still having fun.
And KusunoGintoki, I understand your point. Same thing happens at us too.
Last night we fought a group who always in top8, more like top 5-6 (let say they are 5th) in power and activity with a lot lvl80 members and 20-30k power ones. And beat them, with they only getting 10 point.
And after when the second round start we get the strongest group as enemy, and this group, the 6th group, the 7th group and the 8th group in power all gets free wins, 3 of them even without any fight. The last one gets max point after 5 minute and we need to strugle to even get in the Saturday fight with our first round 59 point and what we can somehow take from the stronges group.
Honeslty pairings makes no sense to me, sometimes feel like hitting the one who programmed it.
