so im sure this question has been asked many times but i cannot find any previous thread on the topic after searching. during the GNW after fighting the first 3 opponents and switching to the second set of 3 i have noticed that any shields or debuffs on the ninjas get cleared however wat about stacks such as kimimaru's def/resistance stacks do those dissapear too? stacking them up through the hole fight just to lose them and get one shot by the next group of 3? i dont see anyone use him during the GNW and im not sure if that is the reason why or if they just dont want to chance it if that is how the function works. this applys to anyone such as kidomaru. 9T chakra naruto, sailor sakura, choji, choza. anyone who has a buff when attacked effect really.
