So, I was in a fight during Matsuri and we both had reflects. I used my Neji's mystery, but it didn't even cause a reflect. It didn't puncture, it didn't proc Ningendo's reflect, what happened?

If you look closely at the stats come from refine. There is a stat called control. It's effect the chance of success cc your enemy. So yea your enemy do have chance to resist your cc.

That's a really awful stat to have in game if that's the case. I'd rather not lose my game out of pure RNG

Well all refine stats are rng apart from speed, increases chance of starting combo from auto, increases crit chance/damage and decreases chance of it happening to you.

Yes, but the fact that you can lose an entire match because you couldn't stop a major mystery is nothing but a giant screw you. I'm fine with crits because it's so embedded into games it's just there. The fact that an entire match can get changed just because your puncture didn't proc, leaves nothing but a sour taste in my mouth.

Doesn't make it feel any better. "Oh look, the enemy lost because I got very lucky and he couldn't cc me. I felt like I deserved this win." That doesn't happen, if I win cause their cc didn't proc out of just pure luck, I feel dirty. They played the fight better, and got bad luck, so they lose. How is that fair in any sense?

is it realy that different from o the enemy got a lucky combo proc first round to cc one of my nin, or a lucky crit to kill the nin who was going to start my combo? both of those can lead to loses too.

or dodging part way thru a combo with iruka/itachi/sakura ect

or not dodging a mystery with tobi or an auto attack with konan

they all * equaly and their r plenty of ways luck can effect u positively or negatively
