No,but my answer is for eng servers not CN so yeah...i think no,they not gonna stop with new servers...in my opinion

Yea personally I think there won't either. I just wanted to see if they did on the CN servers once merging started. I hope they stop though or at least slow down.

To be honest, there is nothing wrong with setting up new servers, as long as the older servers are being merged. Since we now have received the announcement, that servers will start to be merged in 3 weeks from now, I don't see why the devs would slow down or stop adding new servers.

I personally want it because it will help prevent servers from dying out in the future, without having to work on setting up and managing new servers they can focus on improving the game more, and less servers mean bigger servers.

they may slow down with the new servers in the new year ... but that is a maybe i i dont know the plans of the guys that make the decicions .
Thing to keep in mind tho. with the servermerges coming during the next month ... dont expext things to get better fast. many ppl opose server merges and will leave servers after merges whatwill put down the amontof players there again and fill up the newer servers.
That at least i can tell you from many many other onlinegames ... best is toplay on an activeserver and stay there starting on newer servers most times results in soon to be dead servers that get merged and then die out completely

I don't want to be merged. My group is guaranteed 2-3rd place in GNW and I always get a pack. Merging with another server with more groups would be devastating for me :(

I rather take less rewards in order to actually play the game. Right now I am in the same boat as you and my group is guaranteed at least 3rd. I would rather seeing 8 groups in the war, and having to actually play the game to earn my rewards.

I think they will keep merging old and dead servers while opening new servers.
while the rate of opening new servers >> the rate of merging old and dead servers

Not everyone have a same taste of gameplay. I personally dont want to be merge but that is just me. Well hope they merge the dead one and leave the lively alone.

I would like to see more competition on my server, f2p-wise and the like, so yeah, a server merge would be great.
