Still working the fine art of ranked-battles myself.

What problems are you having specifically? And are there lots of people around the same total power, perhaps a bit over, or are you pretty much as far as you can go and the next option to fight is a lot higher?

However, some things I've noticed.

The RNG and AI in ranked is geared a slightly different way than in regular battles (kind of how sometimes in exam, strong approach and instances the opponents don't necessarily act in a way you'd think).

In short, you team is played by the AI equivalent of a monkey with ADHD and a lot of bright shiny *ons to push while the opponent's team plays like they hired the computer that best Kasparov at Chess to pilot it.

With this in mind try setting up interrupters like Neji and Guy at the top and near the front of their grids to stop jutsu before they happens, specifically barrier jutsu like Sasuke's and a Gaara's. Having Hinata able to acupuncture off of someone else's combo is also good, though you'all notice your AI won't always hit the right person with the right jutsu at the right time.

So far, had mixed success with 'clone-spaff stall teams' such as Naruto, Kabuto and Sai, where the idea is just to clog up a third of the opponent's team with clone bodies and force them to waste combos, attacks and jutsu removing them.
Your own barriers should be at the rear and bottom of your teams

Tablet playing up....

Barrier users should be back and low on your teams so they use their barrier after the opponent's have. This, *ly, doesn't work all the time, it's just a quirk of ranked.

One last piece of advice, make sure each team can combo to its fullest, and more than one ninja can start a combo of at least 4 steps in that team. Ending with crowd control moves like sleep, immobilise, acupuncture or chaos will all help.

Lastly, don't be afraid to watch the battle unfurl and then change your teams around if you lose. If your Sasuke is constantly using his jutsu and then their Sasuke uses theirs straight after and over-writes it, see if you can move Sasuke further down the list than theirs (put him or the team he is in right at the bottom of your lineup if you need to), that or add another interrupter. The AI seems to prioritise interrupting barrier moves and resurrection moves (which is a good thing to remember) so bear that in mind when rearranging your teams.

Have fun and good luck.

Oh, one last piece of advice.

Ramen, BBQ Cultivation Tags and Substitution Logs....

Don't forget to level up at the very least, awaken if you can and cultivate as you are able your team. That way each ninja is as good as it can be. Small tip: if you need to level some ninja to use in ranked and you run out of bread, ramen and BBQ, * them in your main party and then sweep ninja exam and instances to get the cultivation items. The exp you earn will level them up fairly quickly for you, and yo don't need to actually fight with low level ninja to level them up.

It's cool, I know what you are asking for. Trouble is, I can't really say what a 'perfect' ranked line-up. I've tried copying guys above me in the ladder but some battles they are great and others useless, so it's a good thing there is enough variety. When you start unlocking the top end stuff like Pains etc then it gets interesting.

Lol, should have said you should definitely keep Hidan in there, and Orochimaru as well. They bring themselves back so keeps your numbers up.
