GNW activity requirements

what are the actual requirements to participate in GNW for groups ? We only got 4 groups participating on our server so I was wondering

Only 200 activity points, there is no level or member limit or anything like that. A lot of smaller groups just don't bother because they have no chance of winning rather then they can't.

I never understand why smaller groups don't participate when there are only 4 groups currently participating in our server as well. Especially because the top 8 will get rewards even if they don't win, so what do you lose by just participating?

Could be that: (1) only a few participate/active, thus, low to no activity, or (2) their leader/seniors don't want to sign up...

If you go into rankings then Group, there is 3 tabs, GNW, Power, Activity. Maybe they really are to small to get 200 but i find that there is always less playing then total possible, so i guess some just don't bother.
