Since you're using shields and want to tank focus on resistance but health and defense are also important. For moods go resistance or health and dont lose 5 percent on defense health or resistance.

I would do +res -nin for earth main.

if you want to focus on shields I would suggest -attack + res. Earth is nor meant to do damage, he is a tank.
