I have power of 18.5k and i keep losing to this opponent in rank with power of 17.2k. Is this normal? hes like 1-2 level above me. so is level more useful than the power itself? Thanks =D Reply

lvl is not more useful, but power also doesnt mean u win just because urs is higher.

this is a strategy game and the team with the better strategy will win as long as the players are within an acceptable power difference of each other(which grows larger over time)

Power isnt everything but important. The most important are ninja n your strategy :)

Level = nothing, what you want to look at is power/ninjas and something a lot of people ignore, refines. Refines are even more important then power, i can beat people up to 5k power higher then me in ranked because my ninjas go first.

Initiative , the more higher it is the better your chance of going first depending on your ninja position. Battle armor and refines increase this.

power is not everything when you hit lvl 55
you get 3 summon slots . and all the 3 summons power will be added to your main
but during the battle only 1 summon power will be added in the battle
Aside from that, some ninjas doesnt need a certain stats to be cultivated but people still cultivate it, so that adds up more power but unnecessary ( not useful ) power that doesnt do much for the battle

It all comes down to team strategy and countering

tldr version, in ranked battle its 3 vs 3 team, so you need to plan how those 3 team WORKS like which employ combo, which employ debuff and which employ skill and how all 3 team helps each other

I've been meaning to ask someone like you but have you noticed items scale based on your power? With the western outfit costume I got around 700 power. A friend of mine received 410 only. Maybe battle armor from rank 4 to 5 will scale a bit too, I bought 100 off 50% discount and received 190 power. People said you get about 500-650 power in total, but I could get more since I got the outfit as well.

Not that I know of, the underlying factor may coincide with your moods and Ninja stars( both of which boost your % on your attributes), so when you add the attributes from the battle armor or clothing to your base attributes you're then adding a % to those based on your moods(Start @ 5%, and increase by 4% with each level of strengthening) and your ninjas stars(2*=5%,3*=10%,4*=15%,5*=20%). Hope that helps.

Hm okay cool, I have a 4 star main as well a 4 star Jiraya, 3 star Sage, and 5 star Iruka. Of course 3 of them are maxed in moods for nin and Iruka in res. Hopefully the power scales well.
