group donations start the moment you join a group. and is only capped with your level. beginning at lv16 is 300k coins a day but that will increase more you level up.

Found under group interface > group contributions tab > right side coin image and text box (enter how much you want to donate). Don't recommend donating ingots or donating max coins until you have steady coin generation.
