1＃ Go ToHi, I have came across many confusions regarding the order in which ninjas attack, so I thought I'll just make a thread about it based on my past experience, and perhaps it will help to clear things up a little.
What is casting order determined by?
1. Initiative
2. Position
3. Rules for initiative and ninja positioning
4. Type of mystery
5. Other factors
1) Initiative
Initiative, the "increase of action speed" indicates the order of attack in battle, where having a higher initiative permits you to act before your opponent in the corresponding position.
Your initiative stat can be seen by going to Character -> Details -> Additional
How do I increase my initiative?
For now, you can increase it by refining your equipments with refine runes by going to Stregthen -> Equipment refining
(Tabs and stats are in the same order as the English version)
What equipment should I refine first?
As initiative is ac*ulative for each set of equipments equipped on one ninja, the order of refining does not influence the given stats.
Who should I give the equipment with the highest initiative to?
Giving them to ninjas in the order of their moving order is recommended. Ninja on "move"/position 1 > move 2 > move 3 > move 4
2) Position
Ninjas will cast mysteries/launch standard attacks/ chase attacks in their moving order.
What's moving order?
If all of your team members are to use their mystery, despite the exception of 4), your ninjas will move in the order of the labels "move #."
3) Initiative working with position
When ai determines who to go first, it looks at the initiatives of the ninjas in the same position/moving order.You cannot cast your mystery before your opponent if they have a higher moving order, even if your initiative is higher!
Example:
Even if the initiative of your ninja on "move 2" is a lot higher than your opponents ninjas, they cannot use their mystery before the ninja on their position/"move" 1 uses theirs!
4) Type of mystery
Mystery with the label are always used before normal ones.
Example:
If the mystery of your ninja on position/move 1 does not have this label, ninja on position/move 2 with the label will cast their mystery before they do.
5) Other factors
Clicking too slow. If you click after all your ninjas have already done their normal attacks, your mystery may be brought to the next round. In addition, even if your ninjas have a mystery, if you click long after they have already taken their term, ninjas on lower moving orders may cast theirs first.

- So, this is useful and everything... But the prompt one? I wi* was true for the well known Lightning Main+Hinata+Sasuke+Kakashi... Because Hinata's Mystery IS A PROMPT MYSTERY, but it activates AFTER Sasuke's Kirin which is NOT a prompt one.
Hi, the reason for this is that there are two parts to 3 star sasuke's mystery, where the first part which creates a barrier is not a prompt mystery, yet the second part which causes damage to the opponent is a prompt mystery.
Sorry I play the taiwanese version so it's in mandarin, but what i have circled means

if you're casting the first part of his mystery +hinatas, hinata will go first,
if you're casting the second part + hinatas, it depends on your clicking time and positioning
I hope this helps, and also one other thing is in ranked battles, sasukes mystery will be activated before hinatas, because barriers are prioritized. -

- okay I keep getting this with hinata/karin/kakshi combo, where karin's attack always goes first (rather than hinata's) even though they have the same initiative and hinata is in the first position. Is there a way to change this? it's fine in regular battles (since i just override it manually) but in ranked battles it forces you to auto which screws me up...
for auto, damage causing mysteries will always be prioritized when you don't have enough charkra, there is no way to change this, unless hinata is the only one with a 0 cd at the beginning of the battle on her team -
