You can very well scream at the wall. Seriously, it is very common knowledge frag prices in events and exchange are long overdue for reexamination and adjustment. But guess what? Oasis does not care. If they couldn't bother to check if new events time
table does not messess up with something else in game, you think they will bother to go through such task as adjusting prices? Nope, especially that it would benefit f2p, so no money -
