kinkaku tailed beast standard not working

Whenever I use Kinkaku Tailed Beast Chakra, I noticed that for his standard, it says "for every unit hit and receives an extra standard attack. " Also for his Berserk passive, in explosive mode, it states that he gets an extra standard for each enemy unit he defeats. For some reason this does NOT happen. I use him in arena, but whenever he does beat an enemy unit with a standard, he just all of a sudden stops and its back to the enemies turn. Im not sure why this is happening. Also, I need clarification on what exactly his standard means. Is it saying each time he hits a unit with a standard, he gets another standard??? or is it saying if his HP is above 60, he gets +1 standard?
