First off here are the suggestions. If any or all of them can't be done, it might be good just to skip this post.1) Reduced Length of Fighting Matsuri Challenge (e.g. 3>2.5 Hours).
2) Increased Sign-up period for entering event. (Maybe 30 minutes?)
3) Increased Number of Victories and/or extra rewards.

And here's the explanations.
The Fighting Matsuri Challenge can be seen as a replacement for Sage World Battlefield that doesn't occur on Mondays or Fridays. This basically means fighting, Seal Scrolls and Summon Scrolls with a side of Coins and other Exchange Currency. It's also 2x better than Sage World so you can take that as feedback from me if you want.

Now what happens when there's only a 10 minute Sign-up period? Everyone is forced to be online at that period if they want the rewards. But now that they're online, they aren't just going to offline all of a sudden for like 2 hours unless they have no other choice. This means there's a big playerbase all waiting to fight so once the event starts, pretty much a large majority of players are all going to start fighting already. What happens now is basically the same as survival trial mixed in with arena; fight, lose and win some. Then what happens after you're done fighting and winning just 5 times? You wait 2.5 hours to get your reward. A reward that is worth so much more than getting a 10 kill streak in Sage World by the way.

So here's the problem. Why wait 3 hours for just 5 wins? Even more weird is that there's only a 10 minute sign-up for a 3 hour long event. It's actually so weird I can't find the right words for it. Not that it's bad or anything, it just gives off that tingly weird feeling you get when something just doesn't seem quite right. Even Group Convoy is only worth 1 hour and the only ones left fighting are those who didn't get to Plunder versus those who came late. Both of which give cases against having a 3 hour long event.

The Problem with the Matsuri is that it's so long that hardly anyone is fighting anymore. Just like Convoy, it's pretty much those who hasn't gotten their last rewards or those who came late. Except for the fact that 99% of the people that came late can't enter because it only has a 10 minute sign-up period at the START of the event. Which brings back the fact that ALMOST everyone has finished fighting in the early hour of the event. Whether from losing all their active ninjas, winning 5 times or just not having any workable teams of ninja leftover and giving up.

In conclusion, the event is too long especially when nothing is happen for 2/3 of the time given (almost everyone's in Ninetails by then anyway). Some simple ways to solve this problem is extending the Number of Victories that are allowed as well as more rewards or having different requirements to getting rewards. Another way is to extend the Sign-up period or maybe even remove it. Finally, you could also shorten the event timing to just after Team Instance gets rolling. This way you can do your final battles are Ninetails and then spend the other 45 minutes doing team instance.

Please note that these observations are based on S74. It may be different in other servers but I can't imagine someone taking 3 hours to either lose 12 ninjas or win 5 battles. I may be a bit biased because I never lost a single battle except for the times when I accidentally close my browser. But even then I still managed to get my 5 wins or screw up badly because I picked all my ninjas based on my Main Character and it died in my browser accident. When you say it all in 1 line, 10 minutes to enter a 3 hour event to win 5 battles and lose 12 ninjas, the 3 hours *s out the most.

I would also like to point out that I'm not really complaining about waiting 3 hours (because I do it all the time), it's just that it seems really weird. Well that and my group members sometimes forget to sign up and so they spend their 3 hours regretting not signing up earlier.

Please take time to consider,
JunichiKoson S74
