Hey guys, I noticed there's always a ton of lineup requests and that people don't know how to come up with teams. I've also seen that a lot of people don't know how to use the Chinese lineup simulator. I thought that making a video on how to use the website, as well as showing you how I roughly come up with lineups would help: Lineup Simulator.
I will note that the website has the Chinese version of the game, therefore some ninjas will differ in that their skills and chase may differ (due to future balance updates and changes). The website will help give you a visual of what your combos may look like and determine which Summon fits your lineup the best.
The summary: Add in your main character (unless you're trying to figure out Ranked teams, which this website is really helpful for). Add in the character you want to use, or otherwise your strongest character. Evaluate the chase you want to follow next (do you want to chase your main character or this 2nd character?). Use the website and look at all the ninjas that have the chase you want. Add them in, and then figure out what your team lacks or needs (maybe you need more damage, or maybe you need control). Choose the summon that will be most beneficial to you (whether it helps link combos, or extends them). Spend some time and form different lineups, and then try them out in-game with a friend or during group convoy.
One of the BIGGEST factors to becoming one of the best players is knowing how to come up with lineups and how to counter (which is a bit more advanced and requires more critical thinking, so let's start with coming up with a lineup that works well against the majority of players first). So if you want to be on top, you need to spend time learning how to create combos and understanding what each character does and is weak against (you should be able to memorize their chases and mysteries as you try each of them out). There are plenty of P2W players that fight on Auto with just their "strongest" characters, and get dismantled by a strategic and knowledgeable F2P player (even with as much as I know, I still have lost to SMARTER players when they were much weaker).
Thanks for reading/watching. Let me know if you guys want to see anything else, still need help with lineups, or have suggestions or feedback.
