As far as I know , this bug has been reported to developers and they promised to fix it soon.

Hello!
Zetsu, the summoner, is not supposed to be immune to death of any kind! In case you meant his summons, and not the summoner, the devs are aware of this bug and are working to fix it. Thank you for putting up with it in the meantime!
