I'm honestly completely in the dark about it...does it do anything besides change your appearance? And...how does it work? How do you upgrade it?

battle armor is when u have battle armor and u upgrade it the higher the rank the more awesome your clothes get its confusing for me but i hoped this helped

Click on the purple icon at the bottom, it will open up a box that has 4 tabs.

Information: This shows the total stats your battle armor is giving to each of your ninjas.

Upgrade: Here you spend cloth you get from Strong Approaching to increase the stats of your armor

Improve: Here you spend thread that you get from Strong Approaching to increase the stats of your armor.

Transform: Here you just chose which look you like most.

Battle armor improve your stats.
You can either upgrade or improve your battle armor.

Upgrading your battle armor give you more stats.
Improving your battle armor give you more stats as well as a change in appearance but it works a bit like refining. Failing give you a small increase to stats and +1 to growth value.

Yep! It's used to raise your stats, with the added benefit of changing appearance. :)

As you can see if you go to battle armor panel, you can see what additionals it can give you. It gives you lots of power if you ask me. Try it and observe changes in your power and ninja performance.
