Does this mean that an event will have him in it for this ninja assist to be viable ??? i am hoping this is the case ???

It's a new card in the ninja assist feature (like Minato, Danzo, Torune, Hanzo, Temari, Gaara) . Pretty sure he adds damage to chase abilities.
